I received a copy of Tamara Kelly's new book for review - and I'm here to tell you all about it. These opinions are, as always, my own! Stick around: I have 1 book to give to 1 reader =)

Moogly is a great resource for crocheters of all levels. Tamara offers stitch tutorials, patterns, roundups, inspiration, etc; she is an excellent crochet teacher & designer, and I'm really happy to get to share the news of her all new book with you. =)

Quick crochet for the home by Tamara Kelly

With these 20 patterns, Tamara wants to help you elevate your living space from house to home. The book is divided into rooms, and each pattern includes tips to further inspire or simplify your creative process. The written instructions also feature charts, and a LOT of beautiful photos, so you'll never wonder where you're at.

Every project is imagined for quick completion, so you can enjoy it ASAP.

Here are a few of my favorites:

I absolutely *NEED* the Smart as a Fox bookends in my life. When you're done making your own house cozy with these crocheted items, you'll want to do the same to your friends' homes.

A lot of these patterns would make awesome housewarming presents!

My family room would be the first one I would work on. That is the room where we spend most of our time and where I love to display items I’ve made by hand, with love. It makes the room feel more comfortable.

Would start with bedroom, as that tends to get the least attention – at least for crocheted items. And really could use a bed scarf for my bed to help keep the piggy toes warm in the winter months.

I would decorate my living area first!

    Hi Julie!
I think the room in my house is like to crochet for first would be the guest bathroom! It’s quite large compared to my master bathroom so I have a lot of room to fill and work with. Thanks!

I would say my bathroom or kitchen first. :)
