Campfire: a free pattern for a crochet winter hood

Nothing like a warm, cozy free crochet winter hood pattern to keep you feeling protected from the cold. The Campfire hood is an easy crochet pattern for a winter hood you can wear three ways: as a cowl, as a hood, or as a hood with face protection. Best of all, it's worked in 2 easy peasy pieces: the main hood and a quick border.

I'd like to thank Crochet Foundry and their awesome team for welcoming me once more to their annual blog hop! Every other week the blog hop will feature a different fiber artist who will share with you a free pattern featuring Furls Wander Yarn, and Furls Crochet Hooks. Follow the blog hop here.

Notes

Starting chain does not replace first stitch.

Entire hood and border are worked in rows.

The main Hood consists of 2 sides and 1 front. The border is worked after the main Hood has been completed, around what will become the face opening. The Hood is then seamed and the Border is folded in and sewn into a doubled border.
