Hello crocheters!
Here you'll find all of the photos you've shared directly with me of your #MandalasforWink in honor of the lovely Marinke Slump. ACCROchet
I did not know Marinke, other than by her patterns & her blog (that I loved to read, rather than skimming for pics as I usually do). Regardless, her death touched me - as it touched all of you. I'm happy to be able to honour this super talented lady with something she too love to create.
Depression is a bitch (this I know for sure). She isolates & she kills.
We can beat her though, by talking and talking and talking about her until we're all as good to her victims as we are to victims of say, cancer. We have to talk and talk and talk until we can live with her or, even better, vanquish her. This is the goal behind #MandalasforMarinke, a collaborative art project set in motion by Kathryn of Crochet Concupiscence.
