Why should I make this? Orchard is a fun mix of geometry and lace. It works up quick, and crocheted in Insurgent by Expression Fiber Arts, it is super, super soft.
When will this get the most use? Whenever you need an all-day hug!
Who is it for? Just about anyone who loves to wear shawls!
Where do I start? This pattern is rated Intermediate—you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic standard crochet and Tunisian crochet stitches. You will need 200 g to 400 g of DK weight yarn depending on the size of shawl you choose (used here, Insurgent by Expression Fiber Arts), a 5 mm Tunisian crochet hook with cable, a 4 standard mm hook, a yarn needle and some stitch markers.
