Why should I make this: “One Cowl to rule them all, one Cowl to warm them,One Cowl to bring them all and in the softness bind them.”
Or something along those lines! Quite evidently inspired by JRR Tolkien.
This cowl uses the ‘3rd loop’ to great effect!
When will this get the most use: As soon as it gets chilly outside!

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate - You’ll need to be comfortable with crochet. You will need 200g of Bulky weight yarn & a 5.5 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
