Why should I make this: I don’t know why YOU will make it, but I made it when my mom looked at me, horrified to see that I was wearing a (gasp) store-bought hat.
When will this get the most use: Throughout Winter
Who is it for: Offered in three sizes to fit heads 18’’ (45 cm), 20’’ (50 cm), and 22’’ (55 cm) around.
Where do I start: This pattern is rated Easy - you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches and working in rounds. You will need 50g each of a sport and a dk weight yarn (used here, Red Heart Fashion Soft & Lion Brand Vanna’s Glamour), a 5.5mm hook, and a 4.5mm hook. Other notions: a pompom, 2 buttons, a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
