What’s this: This is the Summer Rain shawl.
Why should I make this: A beautiful bohemian border around a textured body make up this warm shawl.
When will this get the most use: Whenever you need an all-day hug!
Who is it for: Just about anyone!
Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate – you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches & colour changing. You will need 230g of dk weight yarn for the body & 28g of fingering weight yarn in each of 5 colours for the border (used here, Leizu DK & Leizu Nuances by Julie Asselin) & a 4 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
