What’s this: This is the Under the rainbow shawl created in partnership with Artfil Yarn.
Why should I make this: When Yana asked me to join her on the crazy adventure of creating a shawl pattern in 2 weeks how could I do anything but say yes? And now that you see the gorgeous rainbow inside the shawl, how could you do anything but create your own 2020 keepsake?
When will this get the most use: When you try to explain
2020 to your great grandchildren.
Who is it for: Everyone, really.
Where do I start: This pattern is rated Advanced beginner – you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches and colour changing. You will need 2x 100g of fingering weight yarn + 100g of gradient fingering weight yarn and a 3.75mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle and some stitch markers.
