Presentation:
Whether you already have a piece worked up or don’t yet have an actual idea, this class will have you writing your first crochet (or knitting) pattern.
In the first class, we will go over everything you need to know to write a pattern :
Pattern requirements and languages, standards, math for basic sizing, copyright, required tools, collaborators, sales platforms, and basic business notions.
Between classes, you will develop your pattern and put it in writing. I will be available to answer your questions through this process.
In the second class, we will work together to ensure your pattern is the best it can be to be sent into the world.
Requirements:
Knowledge of standard crochet (or knitting) is required.
Material is not included.
Supplies required for class:
Yarn, hook (or needles), stitch marker, yarn needle, scissors, ruler, note taking tool, calculator.
