Why should I make this: Designed for a friend that I wanted to give a long-lasting hug to, here is MJ’s hug. This is the perfect way to learn Tunisian crochet, as Entrelac Tunisian crochet doesn’t require a special hook.
When will this get the most use: When you need an all day hug!

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate – you’ll need to know or be eager to learn entrelac crochet. You will need 600g of worsted weight yarn (used here, Cascade 220 Superwash (500g main colour, 100g complementary colour)) & a 6 mm hook without an ergonomic handle. Other notions: a yarn needle and some stitch markers.
