Next week, I’ll be hitting the road, driving from Montreal, Qc to Rhinebeck, NY, and I couldn’t be more excited. Rhinebeck is close enough to Montreal that each year, many Montrealers visit the event and I’ve been looking forward to it being my turn to go =)
Crocheters welcome
You know I’m passionate about crochet, and this journey is the embodiment of that passion. The Sheep and Wool Festival is a paradise for yarn lovers, offering unique fibers, indie dyers, and handmade tools. Historically, this event – like many others – has been knit-centric, but as I see the number of my crochet colleagues also making the trip, I can’t wait to immerse myself in the vibrant crochet community there and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

Satellite events
Indie Untangled, Wool and Folk, and CAKEpalooza are all satellite events that celebrate the artistry of independent designers and the beauty of handmade creations. I’ll definitely be indulging in the sweetest fiber treats, so don’t mind me if I seem lost in a skein of handdyed yarn!
I have advance tickets to *everything*. Next weekend is not for rest!
Gosadi house
As an alpha tester for Gosadi, I’ve been super excited for the opportunities it is bringing to us designers.
