This free crochet pattern for a colourful striped cowl is the perfect project to whip up this winter season. You can easily customize it to suit your wardrobe and include all your favorite colours, or use the same colours I did and let them do all the work.
You’ll find the matching hat here.
Alternatively, you can purchase the set in my pattern shops. The new PDF includes the old, 4-colour version of the hat pattern.

Notes
Border is worked first in rows and sewn together at short ends.
Stitches are picked up in row ends to work the hat/cowl in turned rounds.
Change colours every 2 rounds, as you sl st. I prefer to cut the yarn at each change, but you can decide to float them inside.
Cowl circumference is approximately 2.75 in (7 cm) more than that of the hat.
