Crocheting with Hobbii Yarn: A Comprehensive Review of 5 of Hobbii's delicious yarns

Hobbii’s yarn collection is like a treasure trove for us crocheters. Hobbii yarn covers the entire spectrum of textures, weights, and colors, catering to various crafting needs. They have natural fibers, acrylics, plant-based… something for everyone, basically.

The cost is also more than reasonnable for the quality. I recommend shopping local whenever possible, but also understand that for some, that’s not possible due to location, availability or budget. Hobbii is a great choice for anyone on a budget or located in a yarn desert.

As a designer, working with Hobbii has been amazing. They are generous with both the yarn and the social engagement, with the array of colors providing an inspiring palette for my crochet projects.

As you can see, for this review I chose all yellows to have a good basis for comparison.

My thoughts

Now, let’s talk about the fun part – how am I planning to use each of the yarns I received from Hobbii? I created swatches to showcase the stitch definition. I’m curious to read what you think of how they worked up.

My experience with Hobbii yarn has been nothing short of fantastic. The yarn is soft, fun to work with, and the colors are absolutely stunning. I’m planning to use the different types of yarn for various projects… Who am I kidding… I’m going to be crocheting yellow socks. And when the yarn doesn’t allow for that, I’ll be incorporating them into my next magic cake shawl.

I’m not generally a yellow person, but I’m particularly fond of the vivid yellows in my Hobbii yarn selection.
